Social Services

Life can be difficult, especially when you – or a family member or friend – are dealing with illness or any hardship.

Our caring licensed social worker and social services staff at Paterson Community Health Center are here to work with you and your doctors. They will assess your needs and ensure you have what you need to live with dignity and as little stress as possible. Our social services staff can help secure housing, education, economic support, food, medication, medical equipment, counseling and other necessities and services for you and your family.

Substance abuse and addictive behaviors can destroy lives. People of all ages, ethnicities and income levels can suffer from illegal or prescription drug and alcohol misuse and addiction, as well as problems with gambling, eating disorders, and coping with loss, trauma or serious illness.

The mental health and substance abuse treatment experts at Paterson Community Health Center work with individuals and families to diagnose problems, determine the causes, and connect patients with programs and supports that reduce or stop harmful habits and lead to healthier, happier lives.

Our Mental Health Program is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
